Hello
from the state that brings you "63% of your happiness",
So there is this video floating around telling people to not
hate on Idaho because it helps make fries haha it's pretty funny. it makes me
laugh but did you know that Idaho does not only have potatoes?!?! Haha, this week
we were given bags of apples, bags of peaches, and bags of zucchini (not to
mention we past our favorite plum tree a couple times this week). I love all
the produce here in Idaho it's pretty amazing.
So this last week was pretty amazing. Does anyone remember my
miracle girl Bekka? Well, she got to go to the temple this week which means I
got to go to the temple this week. It was so much fun to see her and her
glowing face as she got to do temple work for her family. I love that girl and
the temple... so it was a pretty bomb day.
We also finished up our new member lessons with Alyeah. She is a
sweetheart and it has been so fun for me and Sister Goodrich to teach this
funny little girl.
So transfers happened this week which is always fun. Sister
Goodrich and I are staying here so I can finish training her and then I'm
pretty sure she will train someone new (she is pretty much already a pro at
this mission thing). We did get a new District Leader though. Good ol' Elder
Bruce. He was my District Leader for two transfers in Meridian so it will be
fun to have him again. We are so sad to say goodbye to Elder Newton though. He is an
amazing missionary and it was so much fun serving around him.
In other news, the ukulele came back out this week. Sister
Robertson and I used to use it all the time for our dinner messages, but I've
never used it with Sister Goodrich because she doesn't like to sing. Well, I
decided to go solo haha. It's actually so much fun to sing again and families
really like it because it's something different.
I hope everyone who is going back to school has amazing weeks.
I know that change is scary sometimes but I also know that God perfectly knows
what we are going through and if we give all our fears to Him, He will take them
and make them into something beautiful.
I love you all
Sister Aase
