Days are long, but weeks are short, and months even shorter!

What the what?!?!   It's August already!
It's been hitting me so hard this week as I've been telling people that I've been out almost 10 months and they have been saying things like "oh so your almost home" and "you're on your down slope now!" -- time really does go by so fast out here. I remember last year at this time my papers were actually turned in and I was just in agony waiting for my call to be a missionary and now a year later I'm here and most days it doesn't even feel like I'm a real missionary but rather just having a weird dream where I'm in a skirt 24/7 and always talking about Jesus. Haha but really, I’ve just loved my time out here and as the weeks are going by faster and faster, I'm not taking a single moment for granted.

This week I truly fell in love with Kuna. The people are just so ready here and unlike the other places I've served, they are really willing to listen to us. This week we gave out 3 copies of the Book of Mormon and this is kinda weird to say but that is more than I've given out my whole mission. People in my other areas just were really scared to accept a Book of Mormon. They loved pass along cards but the books just scared them. So I'm pretty excited that people are so receptive here.

This Saturday the city had this huge event called Kuna Days. People have been telling us about it since the day we got here and it was definitely as big as they mentioned. Everyone and their grandma was at this thing. It was basically like a big fair and I would describe it as the Minnesota State Fair but in a small area like the Bentonville town square. It was way fun and we got to talk to a lot of people. We were not allowed to proselyte but just being present I think was a good thing.

I saw this really cool church video this week (Sister Goodrich is obsessed with videos and always shows me the ones I haven't seen) so this week it was this one.

We shared it for our dinner message this week and have been challenging families to act on any good thought that comes to their mind even if its seems odd. Sister Goodrich and I have been trying to do that this week and it’s really cool. So watch this video and then take the challenge we have been giving out. I promise you will see amazing things.

Love,
Sister Aase
